Etiquette for Awkward Moments
We all have those awkward moments when we don’t know what to say. For instance, what do you do when you can’t remember a person’s name? Or, you sneak out of work early and then see your boss later that afternoon? What if a friend is not paying you back the money you loaned, how do you address the situation without ruining the relationship? Suppose you’re out to dinner with a big group of friends and you order a modest meal as you are trying to conserve money during these economic times while others order steak and wine. When the check arrives everyone says, “let’s just split the check.”
