Don’t Forget To Follow up or You May Be Forgotten

The company holiday party is over and now it’s time to follow up on any commitments made at the event.

Did you say you would send the url to your favorite Chinese restaurant? Or what about the link to the photo web album on the sites visited during your business trip to India?

Don’t forget to keep your word! Even in a business-casual social environment, people will remember if you keep your word. More importantly, they will notice if there is an inconsistency between your word and actions. And, which of the two do you think they will likely trust in the future?
